Baptism
Baptism will normally take place on the first Sunday of the month, at the 9.45 am service.
Exploration and Confirmation
Courses to explore the Christian faith and preparation for confirmation take place by arrangement.
Marriage
We are sometimes asked by people who don't live in the parish whether they can marry at St Wystan's.   Briefly, the legal position is as below.   We are not in a position to make exceptions.

You have a right to be married at St Wystan's if one (or both) of you is resident in the parish.

You may also be married at St Wystan's even if you are not now living here if you have a Qualifying Connection, for example:

if you were baptised in the parish or
if your name is entered in the Confirmation register of the parish or
if you have resided in the parish for at least 6 months or
if you have habitually attended worship for at least 6 months.

or

if your parent has, during your life time, had their place of residence in the parish for at least 6 months or
if your parent attended public worship in the parish for at least 6 months.

or

if your parent or grandparent was married in the parish.
