Recycling

We collect silver foil, drinks cans, stamps and good quality clothing.

Please put used postage stamps in the box on a pew at the back cross-aisle. Proceeds go to Oxfam.

Good quality clothes for adults & children, including shoes, are needed for the NewStart Shop at Immanuel, Stapenhill.   You can leave them in carrier bags - not in heavy sacks, please - at the back of the church, but it would help greatly if you could take them direct to the shop in Winshill.   Directions are on the screen at the back of the church.

David Roberts runs the recycling scheme for aluminium foil, milk bottle tops,foil food containers and food cans (both aluminium and steel).   There are collection bins for these outside the church porch.   Other metals can be collected by arrangement, particularly copper and brass; please phone 01283 702159.

The money from metal recycling goes to the church fabric fund and will help towards the next major project, the restoration of the beautiful 212ft tower and spire.
