Services in April and May

Access
The main entrance is ramped, providing good wheelchair access to the body of the church, and pews are cut away in the centre of the nave to allow wheelchair users to participate fully in services.   However, access to the chancel is harder, so if you would like communion brought to you in your seat, please let the sidesman know; you are unlikely to be the only one!

The church is equipped with a hearing aid loop system.

Crèche and Sunday Club
At the 9.45 am Sunday services there is a crèche for babies and toddlers.   On the first Sunday of the month at 9.45, we hope that older children will remain with their families.   On the other Sundays, children aged four to eleven have their own instruction and worship in Sunday Club.   They leave the service during the second hymn and return during communion in time for a blessing at the altar rail.

Morning Prayer
On weekdays, the church is open from 7.45 am for silent prayer; the short form of the Morning Office is said at 8 am and lasts no longer than 15 minutes.   This is followed by a period for extemporary intercession.   Come and go as you please and join us for one, two or all of these periods.

Wednesday Communion
On the first Wednesday of the month there is a short communion service at 10 am.

Prayer for Christian Healing
Prayer for Christian healing is offered after the 9.45 service of Parish Communion on the fourth Sunday of the month. Requests for prayer can be left in a prayer box beside the Book of Remembrance.   In addition, a service of prayer for Christian healing takes place on a weekday once every two months.

Pattern of Sunday Services
The table shows the typical pattern of Sunday services.    However, do check below as the pattern varies to accommodate church festivals and other special occasions.   If you are visiting, note that the church may be in use for other services, such as weddings and funerals, in addition to those shown.
